Allan juni mánað eru øll vælkomin at vísa MEGD á atkomuligar matstovur í Føroyum. 

Tey fýra atlitini eru:

• Góð atkoma – likamlig atkoma inn í matstovuna og inni í matstovuni t.d. til sjálvtøkuborð, matskrá og at gjalda
• Vesi – er vesi atkomuligt, rúmligt og brúkiligt hjá øllum
• Ovurviðkvæmis vinarligur matur – eru tilboð til tey, ið hava cøliaki, laktosuallergi o.l.
• Parkering – eru góð parkeringsviðurskifti og handicapparkeringspláss so nær sum gjørligt

NOMINATIONS FOR ACCESSIBLE RESTAURANTS 

Help us identify the country’s disability-friendly restaurants. 

Throughout June, MEGD is encouraging the public to help identify restaurants with good wheelchair accessibility and other disability-friendly features.

The four key criteria are:

• Accessibility – easy access not only into the restaurant but also inside, e.g. access to buffet, menu and payment.
• Toilets – is the toilet easily accessible, spacious and can it be used by people with limited abilities?
• Allergy-friendly foods – does the menu include options for people with allergies such as celiac disease or lactose intolerance?
• Parking – does the restaurant have good disabled parking facilities?
